Most people don't realise that every site they visit can see their IP address, approximate location, internet provider, and browser fingerprint — automatically, without asking. Our tools make that invisible data visible so you can make informed decisions about your online privacy.

We do not collect or store your IP address. All detection tools query third-party APIs directly from your browser. We never see, log, or retain any personal data.

How we operate

IPPrivacyCheck.com is an independent, educational website. We are not affiliated with, paid by, or sponsored by any VPN provider or privacy product. The VPN providers listed on our site are included for informational purposes only — we present factual details about each service without rankings, recommendations, or affiliate links.

We may enter into affiliate or advertising relationships in the future, in which case we will clearly disclose those relationships on the relevant pages and in our privacy policy. Until then, every piece of content on this site is written purely for educational value.

No paid rankings — VPN provider pages reflect publicly available information

Technology

The site is a static multi-page website with no server-side processing. IP detection uses the following third-party APIs, queried directly from your browser:

ipapi.co — IP geolocation (country, city, ISP, ASN, timezone)
api6.ipify.org — IPv6 address detection
speed.cloudflare.com — download, upload, and latency measurement
openstreetmap.org — map embeds on the IP Lookup tool

We do not run custom analytics by default. If analytics are ever enabled, IP addresses will be anonymised before processing, as described in our privacy policy.
